San Francisco Mentoring Workshop– SF City Hall

This workshop was intended to practice our lighting techniques learned the day before. I used off camera flash and video light blended together with ambient light. We also practiced our my “sandwich lighting” techniques and learned how to use light modifiers such as an umbrella. I also demonstrated how to create a “Hollywood” glamor look- what lighting to look for and how to set it up. It was a fun day of interacting learning! Special thanks to our lovely models and Zabrina Deng who coordinated the entire event.

Camera: Sony A850, Carl Zeiss 24-70 F2.8 Lighting: Strobie 130, Tiny Triggers, Killer Video Light, Shoot thru umbrella.

Michael Loeb - If I had known about this in advance, I would have been there! I want my work to look like this!
