Renee Cizek - How do I get one??

Taylor Collins - How are you triggering the four Strobie 130’s on the Big Boy Bar ? I’m assuming that the built-in optical slaves cannot “see” the flash from the adjacent Strobie’s. Do you have to have four radio receivers?

-Thanks!

Amy Jensen - Hi! Silly question … I use Nikon SB900 flashes with Cybersync triggers. How do the SB900’s mount on to the Big Boy Bar? Just want to be sure my flashes will mount to the Big Bar Bar because I’m just seeing screw ins on the bar. I’m probably missing something very obvious … LOL. Thanks!

admin - you may need to add some cold shoes to adapt if flashes don’t have a screw hole on bottom of flash shoe.

Krisz - Hi. Why isn’t enough just reflecting the natural light of the Sun? Ok, it has more possibilities but more complicated and expensive as well… Or..? Thx

May 18, 2013 - 9:00 am

admin - Well, it is very bright and rough on subject eyes. Also it is not versatile enough for myself- I need to get light in areas where this is no light like shade but create sun effects. Flash is self contained, whereas a reflector will always need light. I often shoot in the dark! Also, in bright light using a reflector a lot will TAN your subjects.

Danny - Hi, just wanted to know if you are you using ND-filters to avoid running into the sync speed problem of the flashes ? Obviously, 1/200 at iso 100 and f5.6 wd otherwise give a completely overexposed image on a bright, sunny day. (and some of your images seem more like an f5.6 than an f16 to me 🙂 ) Thank you in advance.
