Amos - Yes! I was leaning toward buying a macro lens before you started talking about this converter so I held off. Just ordered the converter and can’t wait to try it out on my 70-200! Glad I was able to bump into you at iUSA a few week ago… Keep being you Scott!

Penny foster - I’ve been reverse mounting a cheap 50mm FD lens ever since you taught that tip on creative live, but this looks brilliant for using my other lenses, so I will definitely try this out. We don’t all have big bucks to throw at photography, so thank you for coming up with amazing ways to save money in this business..

Jacki Marino (Running-Bear) - Scott: What 85mm lens are you using with the a6000? I am trying to decide between a Nikon 85mm and a Sony 50mm. Would like the 85 but want to use it on my Sony as well if I can.

admin - I’m testing out my own 85mm F1.8 lens- all manual. Will be under $200.

Jacki Marino - Anyone enjoy shooting macro but hate spending money on macro lenses? Or want to try macro but can’t afford to buy a good lens? You have got to check this out!

I just received mine last night and I can tell you all, this is awesome! I have both the macro filter and the adapter rings so I can use it on all my lenses. Does not matter if you have a full frame or crop sensor camera. Works with autofocus as well as manual. For the price, if you want to try shooting macro, you can’t beat it. I tried it on my Nikon 610 and my Sony a6000 – just beautiful on both.

sarah - Hi Scott,

I’m wondering what I would need to convert my AF-S Nikkor 50MM 1:1.4G lens to a macro.

I’m not sure I understand if I need the Macro Lens Converter or Lens Adapter Rings. Do they work the exact same way?

Thanks!
Sarah

admin - Hi Sarah, yes you need the adapter rings- you just use the amount of rings needed to fit your lens.
