Anjani - Hey there,

I just ordered a couple of flash units from you and realized I need the transmitter/receiver too I think. But I’m not totally sure what I need. Can you advise what exactly I need? Will be shooting mostly off camera.

PS – was referred to you by Jared Platt who said your stuff is awesome. 🙂

Thanks!

Clint Jorgensen - Hi, is the Tiny Transmitter V3 compatible with other V3 systems? namely the cactus V3 triggering system? I already have a complete OCF setup utilizing the cactus V3s but find myself suffering with autofocus in very low light environments, namely the bridal waltz (because everybody likes to dance in the dark for some reason) so im looking to get a transmitter with IR focus assist to help me find my subject in the dark.
Thanks Clint.

PS… loved your crazy, stupid light workshop, i think ive watched it over and over a dozen times now and recommended everyone i can to do the same. Its changed my shooting style entirely and has brought a lot of fun and excitement back into my work 🙂

Bryant - Can I connect your transmitter to my flash meter (Sekonic Flashmate L-308s) to trigger Alien Bees connected to your receiver to trigger flash for meter readings without having to use a sync cord between meter and strobe?

October 24, 2014 - 8:32 am

admin - Yes, I, i use to do that. Just need a pc to pc cord. to attach transmitter to Meter. When you press meter button it will trigger transmitter which will trigger strobe connected to receiver. Tiny Triggers v3

What was the brand of the CR2 rechargable that you recommended?

Thanks again,
Matthew

Emilia - There seems to be a communication issue with using the trigger and Strobie 230s on the new Nikon D750 — seems to be causing the black bars common with high speed sync issues even though shooting 1/160 and 1/200 … this does not occur if Strobie 230 is mounted directly on D750 at those shutter speeds.

Do you have suggestions on how to remedy the situation?

Jim Gillespie - Two questions.
1. Do I need any cables to use the transmitter on my Nikon D750, or on the receivers for my Nikon SB800 and LumoPro LP810 flashes.

2. I would like to receive my order by this coming Friday. Do you have rush processing available if I order a kit with an additional flash today?

September 14, 2015 - 9:00 am

admin - No cables needed. If you order today there is a 90% chance you will get product by friday, especially if in middle of country or on west coast. If on East Coast probably Thu or Fri

Joe Hodge - Will this transmitter work with a Nikon D7100 and a Yongnuo YN-560 II Speedlight Flash

October 23, 2015 - 11:31 am

admin - Yes, this will work! My triggers are a manual system.

October 29, 2015 - 4:13 am

Rick Blanc - I’m happy to hear it works with Sony’s multi-interface shoe (why Sony felt they needed to reinvent the wheel is beyond me). Anyway since the a6000 doesn’t have a built-in PC connection I’m trying to find a way fire my Dyna-Lite strobes using a hot shoe mounted PC connection. Will this do the trick?

Rick

Lorretta Clarke - Hi, Scott

I bought three flashes and a transmitter from you last year and have been extremely happy with them. They are reliable and simple to use. However, I occasionally work with other people and are concerned about the transmitter being so fragile particularly at the battery opening site. Is there a plan to make this transmitter more durable. I would like to buy another as a backup but the price is putting me off unless it is of better quality. Your flashes are a great deal!

Esther Kowanada - Hi Scott,

I’ve lost my tiny transmitter v3 to fire all my strobie 230, can I use canon transmitter or yongnuo one?

Tara - I purchased your system at WPPI roadshow in PDX in 2012 I believe. Will this transmitter work with the receivers and strobies I already have (the red ones) or do I need to buy the whole new set. I lost my transmitter at a wedding 🙁

April 21, 2017 - 7:08 am

Angela Denise Jennings - I bought 2 Strobies at Shutterfest a couple years ago in STL. I recall you saying the receiver was built into the strobie so if I want to fire a second cam I would just need to purchase another transmitter is that correct?

April 21, 2017 - 7:29 am

admin - Yes that is correct!

April 21, 2017 - 7:30 am

admin - This is a new system. Will not work with red

April 21, 2017 - 7:31 am

admin - No will only work with my transmitter

April 21, 2017 - 7:32 am

admin - Contact me- the transmitter battery door much stronger now.
